February 12:  TATA Trust, a philanthropic organization of TATA Group of Companies, and Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha, the social service wing of Sipradi Trading, have reconstructed a school building of Shree Sharada Higher Secondary School in Sindhupalchowk.

The reconstructed school in Sindhupalchowk was officially handed to the school authority by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri amid a recent event.

According to a statement issued by Sipradi Trading, Shree Sharada Higher Secondary School was reconstructed as a part of its “Nepal Earthquake Rehabilitation Initiative” in collaboration with TATA Trust. The school, which was badly hit by the 2015 earthquake, has been reconstructed with a modern layout resistant to earthquakes and designed with disabled-friendly facilities, the statement added.
