Round Table Nepal collects 1054 pints of blood

March 18: Round Table Nepal, a non-political organisation that works for community development collected 1054 pints of blood through its “Share Life” campaign organised from March 14 to 17. 
 
Issuing a press statement, the organisation stated, “The initiative was organised to celebrate Round Table International Foundation Day, which falls on March 14 every year and the blood donation programme was organised at eighteen places over major cities of Nepal like Birgunj, Narayanghar , Bhairahawa , Sonapur , Biratnagar, Birtamod, Kathmandu.”
 
The blood collected was donated to different Red Cross Society clubs. “Last year, Roundtable was able to collect 853 pints of blood on the same date,” it added.
