The two-day summit was inaugurated by Prime Minster KP Sharma Oli at Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu amid a function.

The government has beefed up security in Kathmandu for the summit.

Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada informed that more than 600 investors along with high-ranking officials from 40 countries are attending the summit

Minister Khatiwada delivered the welcome remarks and also informed about the programme and areas of investment for development and prosperity in Nepal.
