April 29: Nepal Bangladesh Bank has signed a bancassurance agreement with Asian Life Insurance Company.

Surendra Bhusan Shrestha, deputy CEO of Nepal Bangladesh Bank, and Rajesh Kumar Shrestha, CEO of Asian Life Insurance, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations amid an event on Sunday, April 28.

According to the agreement, the account holders of Nepal Bangladesh Bank can now avail the life insurance facility of Asian Life Insurance from any of the 88 branches of the bank.

The bank in a statement said that its account holders can use various services including paying their insurance premium, claiming their insurance payment through all the branches.
