All Seven Provinces Unveil Budget

June 17: As per the constitutional provision to unveil the budget one month before the new fiscal year, all the seven provinces announced their respective budgets on Sunday, June 16.

Province 3 allocated a budget of Rs 47.60 billion, which is highest in terms of volume. The capital expenditure has been set at Rs 22.84 billion, while the recurrent expenditure is Rs 24.46 billion.

Likewise, Sudur Paschim Province has unveiled a budget of Rs 28.16 billion, which is the lowest among the provinces in terms of volume. The province announced a budget of Rs 28 billion for the current FY.

Province 1, which had allocated a budget of Rs 35.9 billion for the current fiscal year, has unveiled a budget of Rs 42.20 billion for the next fiscal year.

Similarly, Province 2 has unveiled a budget of Rs 38.72 billion for the next fiscal year. The province had announced a budget of Rs 29.78 billion for the current fiscal year.

Province 5 unveiled a budget of Rs 36.41 billion for the next fiscal year. The capital expenditure has been set at Rs 18.57 billion, while the recurrent expenditure has been set at Rs 13.45 billion.
