July 7: Laxmi Bank’s network of branches has reached 110 with the inauguration of its latest branch in Amarsingh Chowk of Pokhara . According to the bank, this new branch will offer a full range of retail banking services customized to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses.
Laxmi Bank’s network is now spread across 48 districts with 110 branches, two extension counters and four hospital service counters, 132 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents, and 58 branchless banking agents spread across the country.
In the provincial set up, the bank said it now has 11 branches in Gandaki Province. The bank is rapidly expanding to newer and underserved markets with the aim of meeting the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, insurance, etc.
The bank said in a statement that it actively promotes digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches.
