Kaspersky Launches New Versions of Security Solutions

September 26: Kaspersky Lab launches new versions of its flagship security solutions in association with Sagar Technolink. The company has introduced Kaspersky Total Security, Internet Security and Anti-Virus in the market. Issuing a press statement, the company informed that the new versions provide users with additional opportunities to manage their internet protection and to ensure their data safety.


“Kaspersky Internet Security and Total Security are designed to protect Windows Mac and Android users against malware, dangerous sites, online tracking, fraud and money theft. Likewise, Kaspersky Anti-Virus protects individual as well as for family,” informed the press release.


Speaking at the launch ceremony, Altaf Halde, Managing Director, South Asia of Kaspersky Lab said “Nepal is growing at a fast pace in the digital world and so is the need for digital security. At Kaspersky Lab we strive to protect everything of value to our users from cybercriminals, hackers and malware writers.” He added “People are now more conscious about security and they are careful with their digital assets. The new product line has become powerful and has been further enhanced to ensure users’ privacy and security.” Halde believed that their new product line will ensure the users enjoy their computing experience.    


In addition to the new functions, Kaspersky Internet Security and Total Security have been enhanced with improved advanced technologies such as the multi-level protection of financial transaction. Similarly, the products also enhance prevention of the installation of unwanted applications and the blocking of ad banners in the browser with Anti-Banner.   


Meanwhile, Sagar Technolink has reduced the price of 3-device Anti-virus to Rs 1,750 from Rs 2,000 and that will be further available at Rs 875 (without support). Similarly, 1-device Anti-virus is available at Rs 500 (without support) which used to cost Rs 1,000. 


“The company is offering 50 percent off in Total Security and Internet Security product,” reads the statement.
