NTC to Lend Free Balance

March 29: The government-owned telecom operator, Nepal Telecom is going to provide free credit loan service to its customers. The company will provide free loan balance service to its customers during low balance in air time.

According to the company, the subscribers of GSM and CDMA prepaid sim cards can get this service. The company has entered into an agreement last week with Hemanta Trade Center, local partner of Tiaxa Company located in Hong Kong.

Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT and Hemanta Agrawal, Director of Hemanta Trade Center signed the agreement to this effect.

As per the agreement, the company aims to avail credit loan service to its customers after five months of the signing of the agreement. Prativa Baidya, Spokesperson of the company said, “The Company aims to provide credit loan service to its customers during ‘air time’, too. This will help them to talk even after the expiration of balance.”

The company informed that it will not charge any extra charges to its customers for using new credit loan service. However, the credited loan amount will be cleared after the users recharge their balance.
