Nepal Bank Provides Rs 5.2mn to Construct School Building

May 30: Nepal Bank has supported Rs 5.2 million for the building construction of Sipa Deurali Sanskrit Secondary School located at Indrawati Rural Municipalities-6, Sindhupalchowk. The bank handed over the money to Uttam Bikram Thapa, Chairman of School Management Committee and Punya Prasad Acharya, Principle of the school organizing a program in the premises of the school. “Nepal Bank extended the support as per its corporate social responsibility,” said Durga Raj Regmi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

Shortly before handing over the cheque, the bank’s director duo Surendra Bahadur Singh and Dr Umakanta Silwal jointly laid foundation stone of the pillared building of the school. On the occasion, Singh said that the support may increase in future given that the school optimally utilizes the given money.  Similarly, Chairman Thapa of the school assured the bank officials of not misusing the support money.
