May 30:  Global IME Bank has announces ‘IME Global IME Aakanshya Scholarship’ for the academic year 2073 BS. In a bid to fulfill desire of students of their bright future, the bank announced the program in collaboration with Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools Association Nepal (HISSAN) and Private and Boarding Schools Organisation Nepal (PABSON).

The scholarship announcement program was participated by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Chairman of IME Group, Anil Gyawali, CEO of Global IME, Suman Pokharel, CEO of IME Ltd, Bijay Sambhaafe, Chairman of PABSON and Dr Swagat Shrestha, Vice President of HISSAN.

“IME and Global IME Bank jointly announced the scholarship under their corporate social responsibility,” said Dhakal, Chairman of IME Group and Vice-President of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI). The scholarship has been provided on the basis of scholarship applications submitted by talented but financially week students of standard 1-11 in public, private and community schools. The scholarship fund having Rs 1 million balance was announced last year.
