Yeti Devt Bank Conducts Financial Literacy Program

June 2: Yeti Development Bank has conducted financial literacy program in various locations of the valley. The bank with a slogan ‘Jodaun Ek Nata, Kholi Bankma Khata’ organized the program in Khowpa College, Bhaktapur and Manamaiju Secondary School, Kathmandu on May 30 and 31. In the program, information on banking and importance of saving, ASBA system, use of ATM card, benefits of mobile banking and online banking and techniques of identifying fake notes were provided.   

During the program in Manamaiju Secondary School, the bank also distributed educational materials to students and sport materials to the school. “Yeti Development Bank will continue such programs prioritizing various schools, colleges, rural women groups and youths with low educational accessibility under its corporate social responsibility,” said the bank in a press statement.
