Muktinath Hands over Insurance Amount

June 21: Muktinath Development Bank has handed over a specified amount of insurance to its debtor from its microfinance department.

The bank handed over the insurance amount to Kalpana Gurung, daughter of Bishnu Maya Gurung who died on February, 2017. Late Gurung had taken a loan of Rs 100,000 under the microfinance credit scheme from the bank’s microfinance desk at Gagangauda. 

Having given Rs 5,000 for her funeral, the bank also wrote off her remaining debt of Rs 76,848.

Late Gurung had also taken insurance policy worth Rs 100,000 from Muktinath Development Bank.

Baburam Dhakal, head of the bank’s regional office, Pokhara and Keshav Dhakal, head of National Life Insurance Company, Pokhara branch jointly handed over the specified insurance amount to Kalpana Gurung.
