July 27: Janata Bank has introduced two new schemes – Janata Sansagat Bachat a/c and Janata Call a/c –  targeting the institutional depositors. Janata Sansagat Bachat a/c can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs 1,000, which offers 6 percent interest rate annually. Similarly, interest rate on Janata Call a/c will be negotiable. Customers can open these accounts from any of its branches throughout the country, reads a press statement issued by the bank.
