August 1: Non Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA)’s month-long cleaning campaign of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has concluded on July 31. NRNA’s international coordination council had launched the initiative with a view to make TIA meet the minimum standard of an international airport. The campaign has brought a remarkable change. Khem Sharma of NRNA-Australia said that the campaign became a success due to support from all sector. Sharma said that he along with other volunteers contributed 4,500 hours of free labour for the clean-up campaign.
