August 6: Chaudhary Group has started production of wai wai from Europe. CG has been producing the noodles from seven plants in Nepal and nine in India. CG aims to expand the noodle brand worldwide. With the installation of a factory in Europe, wai wai has now set its sight on starting production from 10 places across the globe by 2020.

According to press statement issued by CG, the company has started production of wai wai in Serbia targeting the European market.

CG President Binod Chaudhary inaugurated the factory in Serbia amid a function on August 3.

“My dream that Nepali brand can become a worldwide brand has come true,” said Chaudhary.

“This is a matter of pride for every Nepali that we have been able to start business in a competitive market like Europe,” he added.   

CG had recently added one wai wai plant at CG Industrial Park, Nawalparasi. The company informed that it plans to start wai wai production from eastern region in the near future. The statement further added that CG will start producing wai wai in Bangladesh within 2017.
