August 7: Mahindra has unveiled two new models of truck in the Nepali market. The new models – Optimo 2.6 Tipper and Optimo 3.3 Truck were made public during the Mahindra Commercial Vehicle Show organized by MV Dugad Group in Bhaktapur. The company has announced to provide ‘Monsoon Gold Offer’ under which the customers get 10 grams of gold for the purchase of Mahindra vehicles.The Optimo truck and tipper are suited for the roads of Nepal, reads a press statement issued by Mahindra and Mahindra. OPtimo 2.6 Tipper can carry up to 4 tons of load while Optimo 3.3 Truck can bear load of up to 5 tons. Mahindra and Mahindra’s Nepal chief Chaitanya Kagalkar, sales chief Dhaminder Malhotra and MV Dugad Group’s vice chairman Bivek Dugad were present during the launch.
