DishHome Launches New Channels

September 21: DishHome has launched its new and exclusive channels Ramailo TV and Action Sports channel on September 20. These channels  were launched amid an official function titled Ramailo Night held at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg.

Chief guest Mohan Bahadur Basnet, minster of information and communications, inaugurated the function.

Ramailo TV will be broadcast on DishHome's channel No 104  and will showcase Nepali comedy serials, popular Hindi serials dubbed in Nepali, religious programs and different entertainment programs, DishHome said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Action Sports will be broadcast on DishHome's channel No 105. DishHome claimed that this is the first and only Nepali Sports channel. It will promote Nepali football, cricket and other national and international sporting events through live coverage wherever possible.

“This channel is totally dedicated towards the upliftment of Nepali sports and will bring different sports and sporting events from every corner of the country to limelight,” the statement said. 

Customers have to subscribe Plus Package of their choice to watch these channels. Customers in Basic, Medim , Deluxe and Super HD package can upgrade to Plus Package with minimal additional subscription charge. Plus Package includes Ramailo TV, Action Sports, Plus Movie channel, musical channels, cartoon channel and other channels promoted by DishHome.

Apart from these channels DishHome also has recently launched Pay Per View service called DishHome Cinemaghar. Customers can watch new Nepali movies by sending simple SMS or by calling DishHome customer support on same day of its release.

DishHome already has successfully released Dhoom-2 and Leela through this service. This service of DishHome has created a new avenue from Nepali film industry and enabled customers from every nook and corner of the country to watch and support Nepali movies.

DishHome said it is continuously adding new channels to cater to the requirements of different target sectors and aims to have an array of 15 to 20 channels of its own.
