September 26: NMB Bank has started receiving payments of electricity bills on behalf of the Nepal Electricity Authority. NMB customers can now make the payment through mobile banking service. The bank’s customers can log in to their account and enter the counter name, account number and electricity customers’ list to see their bill and make the payment, the bank said in a statement.

The bank’s CEO Sunil KC informed that the bank has been upgrading its services through digital technologies to make the banking transactions easy, accessible and hassle free.
