October 5: The number of internal tourists visiting Mustang has increased during Dashain. Hotel’s at Beni en route to the district beyond mountains were packed as the visitors utilized their Dashain vacation to make a trip to the mountainous region.

Hotel entrepreneurs said they saw a surge in the number of tourists since the second day of Dashain ‘tika’.

Hotel Shikhar’s operator Sujan Baruwal said they are having a hard time managing tourists as the number of tourists have exceeded their capacity to accommodate them.

Tourists have started booking hotels of Beni in advance during Dashain.

Hundreds of tourists have been visiting Mustang’s famed Muktinath temple and Lo Manthang during Dashain, informed Indra Singh Sherchan, a hotel entrepreneur.
