Wai-Wai Starts Production from Serbia

October 6: Chaudhary Group has started commercial production of Wai-Wai noodles in Serbia with an aim of expanding the Nepali brand in the European market. The company has started production from a new plant established at Ruma. The plant was inaugurated by Serbian President Aleksander Vucic amidst a function on Thursday, October 5.

Serbian President, Vucic said that the establishment of Wai-Wai will have positive impact on the economy of Serbia, reads a statement issued by the company.

According to the press statement, the Serbian president said that Wai-Wai has opened employment opportunities in the European nation.

CG Corp Global’s Chairman Binod Chaudhary and Managing Director Nirvan Chaudhary were present during the inauguration.

Chairman Chaudhary said that the production of Wai-Wai is a milestone for the company, which seeks to expand its network globally.

Chaudhary further informed that the noodles produced in Serbia would be distributed throughout Europe.

The top posts of the production plant are being handled by four Nepalese nationals while the company has given employment to around 400 Serbians, informed CG.

CG Corp Global’s MD Nirvan Chaudhary informed that they decided to establish the plant at Ruma since the place is strategically close to big European markets.

CG Corp Global informed that it has invested in real sector, hospitality, finance, food and beverage, electronics, hydropower, education in 30 countries around the world.
