October 8: Malaysia-based Riya IME has announced the winner of its Dashain offer. Issuing a press statement, the company said that Ram Mani Bhattarai has been named as the lucky winner. The winner among its customers was chosen by a software system, the company informed.

“Bhattarai had sent Rs 32,053 from Malaysia to Nepal. The amount was withdrawn in Nepal from Abhiyan Saving and Credit Co-operative Company in Sindhupalchowk,” the statement reads.

The company said that it will announce four more lucky winners. The statement further reads that Bhattarai will receive different home appliances like refrigerator, washing machine, LED television and micro-wave oven.
