Laxmi Bank Opens New Branches under Access to Finance Project

October 12: Laxmi Bank has opened two new branches in the country. The new branches are based at Okhaldhunga’s Siddhicharan Municipality and Panchthar’s Fidim. The branches were inaugurated on October 11. The branches were set up at the remote places under the UNNATI Access to Finance Project jointly undertaken by Laxmi Bank and United Nations Organisation. Laxmi Bank now has 71 branches, three hospital counter services and 92 ATM outlets, the bank said in a statement.
