Sale of BOK Promoter shares through Auction

November 24: Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved the sale of 6,158,067 units promoter shares of Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) through auction. The bank said that the issue is being managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited. According to the bank, formal public notice to this effect will be published soon. During the last fiscal year 2016/17, the bank recorded a net profit of Rs 1.24 billion with a total deposit of Rs 72.13 billion, reads a statement issued by the bank. During the period, the bank provided a total loan of Rs 62.54 billion. The bank is currently providing its services through 75 branches, 66 ATMs and seven extension counters.
