November 28: NMB Bank has started  Visa Platinum Credit  Card Service . According to the bank, an EMV (Europay MasterCard and Visa) chip is embedded in the card.

“Our aim is to extend the access of banking service and provide solution to financial problems to as many people as possible,” said by CEO of the bank, Sunil KC. He further said that the card will give the users the experience of the best system. The card ensures an accident insurance worth up to Rs 5 million, maximum credit service ranging from Rs 250,000 to Rs 1 million, special discounts on purchase from main trade centers and easy debt facility to the customers.
