December 1: Aashish Rai has been appointed as the Managing Director of Unilever Nepal on Tuesday, November 28.  Rai joined the Hindustan Unilever Limited in 2006 as an account manager. 

He has held the post of general manager of Unilever, South India. He worked in Indian cities including Chennai and Mumbai for a long time and has also worked in market management in Singapore for two years. Rai, a graduate in chemical engineering from the Indian Institution of Technology, also has an MBA degree in marketing from Delhi University.
