Global IME Bank Opens 2 More Branches

February 5: Global IME Bank has opened two branches on Sunday, February 4. Issuing a press statement, the bank announced the opening of a branch each at Palpa’s Tansen and Kathmandu’s Jorpati. According to the bank, it is the first branch in Palpa district while the Jorpati branch is the 35th branch of the bank within the Kathmandu valley. Now, the bank said it has a total of 115 branches.

In the statement, the bank said that it aims to extend banking service in all seven provinces of the country. Besides the 115 branches, the bank said it has been providing services from 127 ATMs, four extension counters, 14 revenue collection conters and 68 branchless banking locations. Likewise, the bank has also been providing Viber banking service, mobile banking service and has been catering to the needs of Nepalis residing in Australia, UK and India by setting up contact offices in those foreign countries.

The bank has also been providing remittance service from Malaysia, South Korea, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain among other countries.
