February 6: Citizens Bank has started branchless banking service at Fatuwa Bijayapur Municipality of Rautahat district.

The bank's representative Ravi Thapa inaugurated the service amid a function. Likewise, the bank handed over a Point of Sale Machine (POS) to a local resident, Suresh Prasad Yadav, by appointing him as the bank's representative for the municipality.

According to the bank, the service allows its customers to conduct banking transaction including saving and withdrawing amount through the POS machine from anywhere even in the absence of its branch offices.
