Siddhartha Bank formally opens its branch in Baglung

February 6: Siddhartha Bank has formally inaugurated its branch at Baglung Bazaar of Baglung on Monday, February 5. The branch was jointly inaugurated by Nirman Kumar Shrestha, executive committee member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jayaram Bhari, chairman of Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The bank said in a statement that it has been providing wide range of banking services from this branch, which has benefitted a large number of customers residing in Baglung.

Currently, the bank serves its customers through 92 branches, three extension counters, 99 branchless banking locations, 105 ATMs, and more than 650 POS machines. As per the unaudited financial results of the current fiscal year, the bank has recorded a deposit portfolio of Rs 85.57 billion and a loan portfolio of Rs 76.95 billion. The bank said it has recorded net profit of Rs 770 million during the same period first six months of the current FY.
