Gandaki Bikas Bank to Expand its Base In Rupandehi

February 7: Gandaki Bikas Bank is preparing to run a total of 10 branches in Rupandehi district. Currently, the bank has seven branches in the district.

The bank’s CEO Resham Bahadur Thapa informed during a press conference held in Butwal on Tuesday, February 6, that the bank will soon open a new branch each at Manpakadi of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality, Thuthepipal of Omsatiya Rural Municipality and Buddhanagar of Sainamaina Municipality.

Thapa further said that the bank with its head office in Pokhara has given special emphasis in expanding its branches in Rupandehi district.

The bank’s Chairman Jagan Bahadur Gurung said that the bank aims to conduct annual transaction worth Rs 6 billion in Rupandehi. The bank, which was established in 2064 BS has 53 branches across the country.
