February 9: Janata Bank has opened two more branches with an objective of making banking service accessible to more people. The bank opened a branch each at Lakeside, Pokhara and Attaria of Kailali on Thursday, February 8.

Pokhara Lekhnath Municipality Mayor Man Bahadur GC and the bank’s promoter Ram Bahadur Bhandari jointly inaugurated the Lakeside branch while the Attaria branch was inaugurated by Hari Singh Saud, mayor of Godavari Municipality and the bank’s promoter Gautam Prasad Khanal.

The bank’s CEO Sagar Kumar Ghimire informed that the two new branches will facilitate in the transaction of the locals of the respective areas.
