February 9: Himal Remit, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank, has signed an agreement with QS Remit of NNP Korea Company to launch Korea-Nepal remittance service. As per the agreement, both companies have started providing remittance service between South Korea and Nepal.

The service was inaugurated after a formal programme attended by Nepal Rastra Bank’s Deputy Governor Chintamani Shivakoti and the bank’s CEO Ashok SJB Rana at the head office of the South Korea-based QS Remit.
