February 16: American motorbike company UM has launched electric cruiser motorcycle Renegade Thor in the Indian market. The company unveiled the bike during the Auto Expo 2018 in India. The company claimed that Renegade Thor is the first bike in the world to run on electricity.

According to the company, the bike utilizes 30 kilowatt power to produce 70 Newton meter torque. The bike has five-speed transmission gear box as well as hydraulic clutch and liquid cooling facility.
