March 13: Deva Bikas Bank has started its branch in Pokhara. Chintamani  Siwakoti, deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the branch amid a function on  Sunday, March 11.

On the occasion, Siwakoti said that B class banks need to be authorised for government transactions in those areas where A class banks are unavailable.

The bank's CEO Bijay Bahadur Shrestha said that the bank has been providing services through its 49 branches across the nation.
