March 21: The first session of Behind the Scene, a monthly series which focuses on inspirational talks, was held in the capital on March 17. During the event, Deependra Tandon, director of Advantage Group Pvt Ltd, shared his journey as an entrepreneur.

“It is very important to have your own choices in life. Every step you take in life should be taken wisely to help you design your life according to your will,” he shared.  

He expressed that passion is very important because loving what we do can keep us engaged for a long time in the field. Tandon said that today’s youth have much more opportunity to earn money. “Stability doesn’t mean working from 10 to 5 and getting regular salary. Stability means having a regular source of income which can be earned through investments of different types,” he said. 

Answering the queries of the audience, Tandon said that advertising is a medium to make a product visible and reach to the audience. “There is no hard and fast rule to bring creativity in advertising. However, it is all about how one perceives life and applies creativity in the work accordingly,” he shared. Tandon believes that it is very important to create equal balance of work and life to become successful in life.
