Citizens Bank Adds Six More Branches

May 15: Citizens Bank has established six new branches across the nation with an objective to make banking service accessible to all rural municipalities. The branches have been opened at Manebung of Ilam, Likhu Pike of Solukhumbu, Sunapati of Ramechhap, Timal of Kavre, Hariharpurgadhi of Sindhuli and Khalsa Chintang Shahidbhumi of Dhankuta district.

All these branches were brought into operation on Monday, May 14. The bank's CEO Rajan Singh Bhandari inaugurated all the branches remotely by clicking on a computer screen.

Issuing a press statement, the bank said all these new branches will provide banking service in accordance with the policy of Nepal Rastra Bank. Likewise, the bank offers a wide array of banking services.

After the recent branch expansion, the bank currently has 74 branches and 69 ATM counters spread throughout the country.
