May 15: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has welcomed the announcement made by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to end loadsheding in the industrial sector effective from Monday, May 14.

FNCCI praised the successful implementation of the announcement made earlier by NEA and the Ministry of Energy to end loadshedding from the month of May.

NEA had already ended loadsheding in household sector while the 3-hour loadsheeding in industries has been ceased recently following the annoucement. FNCCI believes that the announcement will help attract investment and contribute to the overall economic development of the nation. Similary, the federation also hopes to expand industries, smoothen operation of the established industries and increase productivity.

The federation has also appealed to the NEA to provide required electricity when demanded by the industrialists while extending their industries and capacities.

The federation also suggested NEA to focus on providing quality electricity.
