NIC Asia Bank Starts Branchless Banking Service at Ghatmuna

May 20:  NIC Asia Bank has started branchless banking service at Ghatmuna of Gaumul Rural Municipality of Bajura district with an aim to make banking service accessible in every part of the country. The bank said in a statement that it started the service in collaboration with UK Aid-funded Access to Finance (Sakchyam) project.

 The municipality's chairman, Hari Rokayo, inaugurated the service amid a function on Thursday, May 17. The bank has appointed a local resident Kalak Bahadur Rokaya as its representative for Ghatmuna.

With this, the bank has seven branchless banking services across the nation.
