May 21:  Gandaki Bikas Bank has opened its branch in Nepalgunj of Banke district with an aim to provide banking service in each part of the country.

The bank's Chairman Jagan Bahadur Gurung  inaugurated the branch amid a function on Sunday, May 20. On the occasion, the bank's CEO Ramesh Bahadur Thapa claimed that the bank will be the biggest development bank in terms of total paid-up capital after the approval of the proposed bonus share by the upcoming annual general meeting. He also presented a paper on the bank's financial position, services, and various activities.

The bank informed that the branch will be providing various kinds of modern banking services including deposit and credit services, ABBS, mobile banking among others.

Prior to this, the bank had opened eight branches in Province 1 in continuation of the extension of its services across the country.
