May 25: Global IME Bank has provided computers to two schools as its support for the development of education. The bank provided five sets of computers each to Bhuwaneswar Secondary School at Nawa Durga Rural Municipality-2 and Ghatal Secondary School at Amargadi Municipality-3 of Dadheldhura.
Swechya Rana, the bank's senior relationship manager and Karunakar Awasthi, assistant chief district officer of Dadheldhura jointly handed over the computers to the schools.
The bank said it distributed the computers with an aim to improve quality of education under its corporate social responsibility.
Meanwhile, the bank also started its 85th branchless banking service at Motinagar, Surena Rural Municipality of Baitadi from Wednesday, May 23.
