Globalising Nepali Food

May 27: Promotion of Nepali food at various hotels has gained pace since the May 7 launch of Cookbook of Nepali cuisines, a one-day food fest held in the capital.

Airport Hotel has started a campaign called ‘One Nepali in our Hotel’.

“This Nepali food festival will be organised for one month from May 24,” said Binayak Shah, managing director of Airport Hotel and general secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).

Shah said that many international hotels are also organising Nepali food festivals which will gradually help to globalise the cuisines. “Initiating this campaign will be crucial to gradually inspire others to promote Nepali food. This kind of activities has been contributing to make the people aware about the ethnic Nepali cuisines,” Shah said.
