Global IME Bank wins 2nd NEPS Running Shield Futsal

July 4: Global IME Bank won the running 2nd NEPS Running Shield Futsal title defeating Kumari Bank in the final held recently in the capital. Rajesh KC of Global IME Bank won the best player award while the title of the best goalkeeper was awarded to Sarvesh Man Shakya of Kumari Bank. Arbin Shrestha of Kumari Bank took the award of highest goal scorer of the tournament for scoring 11 goals.

The tournament was organsied by Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Ltd (NEPS), a consortium of 15 financial institutions providing a common platform for the financial institutions in Nepal with the complete suite of electronic payment services with the latest technology.

The organiser said in a statement that the tournament was held with an objective to build a strong bond and relationship among NEPS and its member banks.

According to the statement, NEPS is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS Version 3.2) and PCI PIN certified company and is providing hosting and switching solution to thirteen financial institutions running various Visa program.

Currently, 13 banks and financial Institutions are associated with NEPS and have been receiving card related facilities. They BFIs include Sunrise Bank Ltd, Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd, Janata Bank Nepal Ltd, Siddhartha Bank Ltd, NIC Asia Bank Ltd, Bank of Kathmandu Ltd, Deva Bikas Bank Ltd, Nepal Bangaladesh Bank Ltd, Lumbini Bikash Bank Ltd, Jyoti Bikash Bank Ltd, Prime Commercial Bank Ltd, Citizens Bank International Ltd, Om Development Bank Ltd and Shangri-La Development Bank Ltd.
