July 9: Lumbini Development Bank has opened a new branch in Bode of Bhaktapur district. The bank with an objective of reaching every nook and corner of the country said it opened the new branch under its service extension plans.

Shiva Raj Shrestha, deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the Bode branch amid a function on Sunday, July 8.

With the operation of Bode branch, the bank now has a network of 64 branches across the country.

Umesh Regmi, CEO of Lumbini Development Bank, informed that the bank with the operation of the new branch in Bode aims to sanction loans to the local farmers and small cottage industry operators with the deposit made by the locals.
