August 9: Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha has been appointed as the chief executive officer of IME General Insurance Limited. Prior to his appointment as the CEO, Shrestha had been working in the same company as its General Manager and Acting CEO. Shrestha has been involved in non-life insurance sector since the last 23 years, the company said in a statement. Under Shrestha’s leadership, the company has been able to sell insurance policies over Rs 1 billion in the last three years, according to the company.
