August 10: NIC Asia Bank has started an additional branchless banking service in Thulo Pokhara of Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality in Gulmi.

Hira Bahadur Khatri, chairman of Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality-7, Thulo Pokhara inaugurated the new branchless baking service amid an event on Wednesday, August 7. 

The bank has appointed Khumlal Aryal as its agent for the service in Thulo Pokhara.

With the operation of the new branchless banking service in Thulo Pokhara, the bank said it now has a network 234 branches, 221 ATMs, 14 extension counters and 17 branchless banking points to provide its banking services across the country.
