Volkswagen launches Polo 1.0 in Nepal

September 10: Volkswagen has launched its new model Polo 1.0 car in the Nepali market. Pooja International Nepal, the authorized distributor of Volkswagen brand for Nepal, launched the new model amid an event on Sunday, September 9.

The manufacturing company claims that the car with 999 cc and 76 hp engine sets a benchmark in energy efficiency. Pooja International Nepal recently had launched two models of Polo 1 car with 1600 cc and 1200 cc engines.

As informed by the distributor, the 2075/76 fiscal year taxation policy won’t affect the buyers of Polo 1.0 car as the rise in tax is effective for cars above 1000 cc.

 The company during the launching ceremony informed that the car which actually costs Rs 2.69 million during normal time is available at Rs 2.5 million during this festive season.

The car features anti-lock brake system, air bags, galvanized body, power window, rear view camera, air conditioner with pollen filter and power station.
