Round Table Nepal Wins Best Association Award 2017-18

September 11: Round Table Nepal, a non-political organization working for community development in the country, has been conferred with the Best Association Award among round table associations across the world for its contribution to the needy and society at large for the year 2017-18. Round Table Nepal said in a statement that it has been selected as the best association among 54 countries where round table associations are currently present.

According to Round Table Nepal, the award was received by the immediate past president of RT Nepal Jayant Kumar Agrawal and RT Nepal President Ravi Khetan along with other members in Sri Lanka.

"The award reserved a proud moment for us and has fueled us to strive for more activities to further develop our communities and help those in need," said Jayant Kumar Agrawal.

RTN said it has been involved in numerous community service projects such as Freedom through Education, Build the Nation through Education, and All4Nepal.

“Last year, Round Table Nepal successfully built over 32 classrooms for underprivileged children in different areas of Nepal and helped raise 853 pints of blood as a part of its blood donation camp on a single day. It has also expanded its network and formed Round Table associated clubs in two more cities in Nepal inspiring more people to get involved in the noble cause. It has undertaken multiple macro and micro Projects like health camps in far and remote areas of Nepal along with sponsoring under-privileged children under ‘Educate a Child’ project,” the statement said.
