September 16: Ncell Private Limited recently handed over cash prizes to the lucky winners of the first week of ‘Recharge and Win’ offer.

Recharge and Win is a 10-week long campaign, and the winners for the first week were selected through a live draw program broadcast on AP1 Television.

Among the 10 lucky winners of the first week, two winners received cash prize of Rs 100,000 each. Ncell said it will hand over the amount to other three winners during the next round upon their request. Ncell said in a statement that it is verifying the remaining five winners of the first week, and will hand over the prizes accordingly.

Mahendra K Bhattachan, security and general services director of Ncell, handed over the cash prizes to the two winners—Jakir Hussain from Jhapa and Hari Shrestha of Nuwakot – amid a function in Kathmandu on Thursday.

All Ncell prepaid and postpaid customers are eligible to participate in the offer. The Recharge and Win campaign was launched on September 2 for 10 weeks, through which 10 lucky customers topping up Rs 100 or more in a week will get Rs 100,000 every week.

According to the company, the ‘Recharge and Win’ offer is implemented in a weekly cycle beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. Based on the recharges done in the week, the customers receive a random unique code by Monday of the following week for every cumulative refill of Rs 100. Ten lucky winners for the week are selected every Tuesday through a live draw that is broadcast on AP1 Television at 7:00 pm in presence of a celebrity.
