Three mega hotels with Rs 14 billion Japanese investment

September 20: Japan Club International is investing around Rs 14 billion in three mega hotel projects in various parts of the country.

The Investment Board of Nepal said on Tuesday, September 18, that the Japanese company is preparing to construct star hotels at Bhaktapur, Dahachowk and Pokhara with a total investment of USD 139.8 million.

The Japanese company also decided to present a proposal to the council of ministers to conduct project study for the possibility of setting up solar energy, river port and magnetic energy projects. 

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, chairman of the Investment Board of Nepal, has requested the board to quickly implement the infrastructural development plans to timely achieve the economic prosperity goals.

He also instructed the responsible bodies to quickly decide and amend the needed laws for garbing maximum investors.
