September 20: Footwear Manufacturers’ Association of Nepal has started a fair at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu exhibiting shoes and slippers at affordable rates. According to the association, altogether five companies are displaying their products in the month-long fair at the heart of the capital. The footwear will be available at the cost price, according to Khum Raj Dhungana, chairman of the association.
Dhungana said that the fair was organised primarily to close the gap between the customers and the companies and not for stock clearance.
“The objective of the fair is to make new shoes of good quality available to the customers,” he said. Footwear brands of KTM, Venus, Sootstep, Pride and Highlife are available at the exhibition.
