Everest Bank Ties up with FinShot Inc for Remittance

October 11: Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has signed an agreement with FinShot Inc, a South Korean money transfer operator, to start its remittance service from South Korea. The agreement was jointly signed by a representative of the bank and the CEO of Finshot Inc, the bank said in a statement issued on October 8.

Nepalis living in South Korea can now send money back home with the use of a smartphone application called CoinShot, which is a registered online service provider of FinShot Inc. The application is available in both Android and IOS devices. Any remitter in South Korea registered with CoinShot will be able to send remittance to Nepal through Everest Remit, the bank’s statement further said.

The remittance received from CoinShot will be available for payment from all 82 branches of EBL and 5500+ remittance payout locations all over the country.
